Adventure Activities Licensing Scheme (AALA)

A Government sponsored scheme ensuring that those who provide certain adventure activities to young people under the age of 18 years, have their safety management systems inspected.

ATOL logo

Air Travel Organisers' Licensing (ATOL)

ATOL is a financial protection scheme covering over 28 million UK consumers each year. Only ATOL tour operators can provide the peace of mind and full financial protection.

ABTA logo

Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA)

ABTA represents over 5,500 travel agencies and 900 tour operations throughout the British Isles, helping to maintain high standards of trading practice for members and their consumers.

BAHA logo

British Activity Holiday Association (BAHA)

A trade association for private sector activity holiday providers. All members must abide by the BAHA Code of Practice and are committed to high standards of safety and customer service.

British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA)

BESA has over 300 members who provide equipment and services to the education market, all of whom offer the best in quality, safety and value-for-money.

Expedition Providers Association (EPA)

The EPA was founded in 2003 with a small group of expedition organisations meeting to discuss industry developments and sharing best practice. The EPA is now widely recognised and was at the forefront of helping to create BS8848 and the EVAC badge for overseas expeditions.

Federation of Tour Operators (FTO)

FTO work on behalf of their members to ensure the continued long term success of air inclusive packages, by educating and influencing governments on health, safety and hygiene.

Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC)

The LOtC Quality Badge provides a new national accreditation combining the essential elements of provision – learning and safety – into one easily recognisable and trusted Quality Badge for all types of Learning Outside the Classroom provider organisations. We are fully supportive of this scheme – Travelbound, JCA, SkiClass, SkiBound, HTS Total Ski, HTS SkiValue and HTS School Tours already have achieved the Quality Badge. School Travel Forum (STF)

A group of leading school tour operators that promote good practice and safety in school travel. All Assured Members adhere to a rigorous Code of Practice and Safety Management Standards. TUI Education Division members - SkiBound, Travelbound, SkiClass, HTS Total Ski, HTS SkiValue, and HTS School Tours all fall within the remit of the STF.

We are members of the Year Out Group. This is an association of UK registered organisations that specialise in this field to promote models of good practice.
